Tyrant Titus Cromwell (Richard Lynch) resurrects the evil sorcerer Xusia (Richard Moll) to defeat a rival ruler. It is finally Talon (Lee Horsley), the latter's son, who will attack the fatal Cromwell-Xusia duo with the help of a legendary three-bladed sword.
New restoration and HDR Dolby Vision
The wild sword (The Sword and the Sorcerer in VO) signed Albert Pyun is the vestige of a bygone era. The one where a small independent production released the same year as Conan the Barbarian managed to compensate for its flagrant lack of means with many half-naked women, a few gore scenes and a hero (Lee Horsley seen again in The Hateful Eight) afflicted with a wig recalcitrant.
Because this formidable nanar has, casually, been a profitable affair with no less than 39 million dollars at the box office. Better: over time, fans have supported it to the point that the film has a rather staggering satisfaction rating on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
The 4K edition of Carlotta's Wild Sword has been restored in 4K. The precious Dolby Vision HDR label and just over an hour of exclusive bonuses are expected. Click on The Wild Sword to access the pre-order.
