Sony is announcing at the start of 2023 a total of 7 new TV series, plus an eighth from the 2022 catalog, the Sony Z9K, which will remain relevant in 2023.
1 QD oled series, 1 Mini LED series, 1 Oled series and 4 LED series
As you will see, the 2023 TV range strongly resembles that of 2022, modulo the technological developments expected and already presented at the CES show in Las Vegas 2023 in early January. We suspect it, the Oled Meta panel presented by LG Display in the gaming capital is absent from the Sony offer, the Japanese manufacturer preferring to remain faithful to QD Oled technology, already present in its offer in 2022 with the Sony A95K series, in particular for its better performance in terms of colorimetry.
Sony XR-98X90L, Jumbo TV
Also noteworthy in 2023, the availability of the very large Sony XR-98X90L (98'', 249 cm) Ful LED Local Dimming model, a first for the Japanese brand. It thus comes to rub shoulders with Samsung and TCL, the only ones to offer such televisions so far.
