Little Wen (Kristen Cui) spends her vacation with her two fathers Eric (Jonathan Groff) and Andrew (Ben Aldridge) in a cabin nestled deep in Pennsylvania. While Wen is hunting grasshoppers, she is suddenly approached by a colossus, Leonard (Dave Bautista) who explains to her that she and her parents are needed to save the world. Leonard is soon joined by a disturbing trio of companions: Sabrina (Nikki Amuka-Bird), Adriane (Abby Quinn), and Redmond (Rupert Grint).
After Glass, the sequel to Split and Unbreakable, and Old, M. Night Shyamalan offers with Knock at the Cabin a psychological horror behind closed doors adapted from the novel The Cabin at the Ends of the World by Paul G. Tremblay .
France not very horror movies?
Published in 4K on June 7, Knock at the Cabin will also be entitled to a special Fnac edition whose pre-orders are already open. However, the content of the additions to this Steelbook edition has not yet been revealed.
While it is not reasonable to comment further on Knock at the Cabin as the risks of spoilers are innumerable, we can see that the film, released in theaters on February 1, confirms, after Old, a renewed form of M. Night Shyamalan. In France, Knock at the Cabin - it is true released almost without any promotional efforts - only attracted a little over 200,000 spectators, but the worldwide box office for the feature shows more than 53 million dollars in revenue.
