While the filming of the sixth and final season of The Crown began several weeks ago, the first photos reconstituting the meeting between Prince William and Catherine Middleton, in 2001, have leaked.

Embedded by Meg Bellamy and Ed McVey, the princely couple are quite believable on screen, even cultivating a striking resemblance and style of dress (the comments on the image on Gala's Instagram account, on the other hand, seem less convinced…) . According to the Daily Mail, the shooting took place at the Scottish University of Saint Andrews in Scotland, the university where Kate and William met when they were still students in the early 2000s.
A scene intended to recreate their first meeting during a morning jogging session has already been shot. Note that in addition to the William/Kate meeting, the series will focus on the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, which took place on April 9, 2005.
