At the end of the 16th century, the invading Japanese naval forces clashed with those of Korean Admiral Yi Sun-Sin (Park Hae-il seen in Decision to Leave). The latter has a formidable weapon, a fully enclosed attack ship, designed like a turtle and capable of pulverizing Japanese vessels. But Yi Sun-Sin knows that his asset has major design flaws and will devise a daring strategy to break the Japanese military momentum.

Hansan the Battle of the Dragon, released on Blu-Ray, DVD and VOD by Program Store, is nothing less than the second biggest film success of 2022 in the land of the morning calm. More than 7 million spectators went to see this $30 million fresco in theaters which takes up the main character, Admiral Yi Sun-Sin, already the hero of another hit film not seen here, The Admiral - Roaring Currents, released in 2014.
