The Fabelmans: Spielberg's Autobiography in 4K Ultra HD on July 5

The autobiographical chronicle The Fabelmans, by Steven Spielberg, will be published in particular in 4K UHD on July 5 by Universal.

Sammy Fabelman (Gabriel LaBelle), crazy about cinema, films his family and modest DIY fictions from a very young age. It is through the prism of his camera and his short amateurs that Sammy will observe the splinters, torments and cracks of his whimsical mother (Michelle Williams), his engineer father (Paul Dano) and Bennie (Seth Rogen). , the couple's best friend.

Childhood memories

Covered with critical praise and yet singularly shunned at the 2023 Oscars, The Fabelmans offers a curious, inventive and very rich chronicle in winks to admirers of the work of Steven Spielberg. With “just” $43 million at the box office, the film is probably not the director's most popular feature, but remains very explicitly his most personal production.

Note that the formidable cast of The Fabelmans is also supported by Judd Hirsch -who plays Sammy's whimsical grandfather- and David Lynch who delivers a rather brilliant cameo in the skin of the legendary filmmaker John Ford.

For its 4K Ultra HD release on July 5, The Fabelmans will also benefit from a special Digibook Fnac edition enriched with exclusive photos and texts. The content of the other supplements is not yet disclosed.
