In March 2022, a Star Wars section named Galactic Starcruiser was launched at Disney World Park in Florida. More than a set of attractions, it is a real immersive experience around a themed hotel, animated by hundreds of actors. A big bet for Disney since visitors must pay a minimum of $4,800 to spend two days in this unique atmosphere.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, last trip end of September 2023
It is certainly this too high price - even for Star Wars fans - as well as the probably exorbitant operating cost, which led Disney to recently announce the closure of the Galactic Starcruiser. Thus, the last trip will take place there at the end of September 2023.
Talk to Disney
"Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is one of our most creative projects to date and has been praised by our guests and recognized for setting a new benchmark for innovation and immersive entertainment," said Disney. This upscale and exclusive experience gave us the opportunity to try new things on a smaller scale, with 100 rooms. As we prepare for her final journey, we will learn from this experience to create future experiences that can reach more of our guests and fans.â€
