History to tickle its future competitor, Meta presented its new Quest 3 mixed reality headset about a week before Apple announced its own. Note in passing that this third version no longer bears the name of Oculus, the previous manufacturer of the device before being acquired by Meta (formerly Facebook).

The headset will be released this fall for an expected price around $500 with 128 GB of storage memory. A version with more memory, and more expensive, is also planned. A price that remains relatively low compared to the €3,000 expected for the Apple headset, in particular thanks to the use of LCD technology for the screens, against the Oled.
