Discreet for more than fifteen years (with only one album in the 2010s, Géopoétique), French rapper MC Solaar is making an astonishing comeback by signing a new track in the soundtrack of the blockbuster Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, released this Wednesday, June 7 at the cinema.
Evocation of the beginnings of Solar
Titled Everything turns, this nostalgic title (clip below) comes in tune with the plot of the film (set in 1994 in New York) and sees the legendary French rapper return to his beginnings and the 90s , between two nods to the Autobots and Decepticons of the Transformer saga. All set to a gently jazzy instrumental that also evokes Solaar's debut, and in particular the piece Les temps changent, released on Paradisiaque in 1997.
