Not just confined to smartphones, the American Customer Satisfaction Index also studies streaming platforms, and tells us that Amazon Prime Video is at the top of the services that Americans find the most "satisfying" for the period from April 1, 2022 as of March 31, 2023, with a satisfaction index of 80 out of 100, 8% better than last year.
Disney+ drops from first place to ninth…
This score, based on several factors to decide between the competitors, sanctions the Disney+ service. The latter is thus dethroned to fall from first place to the bottom of the ranking (9th), losing 3 points compared to 2022 (period from April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022). The second place is occupied by Peacock (79/100, +10 points), while it jostles at the gate of the third position with several ex-aequo at 78/100: Netflix (+5 points), Hulu (+4) , Paramount (+1), and a newcomer, YouTube Premium.
The increasingly popular streaming market
As a whole, the streaming industry has a satisfaction score of 77/100, which is 4% better than last year. And as you can see from the graph above, performance scores and the quality of offerings - including the amount of content available - have all improved.
