Each year since 2005, the Boston Consulting Group has established a ranking of the 50 most innovative companies in the world. This year, Apple retains its top spot, a position it has held since this list began.

In 2023 -as two years ago- the Americans are still the champions of innovation since we find them in the first five places: Apple therefore, then Tesla (which progresses by three places compared to last year , Amazon, Alphabet (Google) and Microsoft (which fell three places). Note the arrival this year of new challengers such as the French Schneider Electric (in 25th position), the American Honewell or the Japanese NTT.

Between 2013 and 2023, we notice a certain evolution among the fields of activity represented in this ranking. transport remains dominant, but health has gained ground (cf.
