Intended primarily to complete a True X Home Cinema configuration based on a Yamaha SR-X50A or Yamaha SR-X40A soundbar as wireless surround speakers (great freedom of placement, therefore), the Yamaha WS- X1A ten centimeters high easily transforms into a Bluetooth 5.0 speaker. Thus, once the Home Cinema session is over, it is possible to separate the Yamaha WS-X1A from the True X audio-video system by pressing the Solo button on the back, to take it anywhere and enjoy through a Bluetooth connection his favorite music. Namely, the IP67 certification protects it from water and dust.

Operating on battery, for an autonomy of a dozen hours (for three hours of charge), the Yamaha WS-X1A is recharged via USB-C or through its dedicated charging station. Namely, placed on its station, the speaker activates automatically in the presence of a multi-channel soundtrack.
