It's been a long time since a Netflix trailer has made us so envious. The atmosphere, the actors, the direction... everything seems to be fine-tuned in this film, which augurs well for a thriller in the spirit of True Detective.
Alicia Silverstone is back
The official synopsis reads: “Following the brutal murder of a young real estate agent, a hardened detective tries to lift the veil on a case with deceptive appearances, and loses his own illusionsâ€.
The first production by music video director Grant Singer, the film is based on a scenario built like a sort of dark and disturbing Cluedo with Benicio Del Toro as a bewitching investigator, Alicia Silverstone (Clueless) as a mysterious wife and Justin Timberlake close to a recent victim who seems to know more than he is saying… A cocktail that promises to be captivating and which will land on Netflix on October 6.
