Hisense 100U7KQ, Mini LED backlight
Like all Hisense U7KQ screens, the 100U7KQ integrates a Mini LED backlighting system associated with a native 10-bit 144 Hz LCD panel. The Asian manufacturer announces 1,620 zones and a light peak of 1,000 nits.

For the rest, Filmmaker Mode, Imax Enhanced certification and the Dolby Vision IQ function, associated with an ambient light sensor, are on the menu. Still on the program, a double stand, MEMC type motion compensation, Hi-View Engine image processing, Dolby Atmos management via a 2.1 audio system for a total power of 50 W (2 x 15 W + 20 W), HDR Dolby Vision/HDR10+ and HDR HLG compatibility, as well as an expanded color space such as WCG (Wide Color Gamut) with 100% coverage of DCI-P3 thanks to the integration of Quantum Dots technology ( QLED).
As a reminder, this uses nanocrystals capable of emitting a given color to improve the tonal spectrum. It is also worth mentioning the Game Pro mode associated with 4K/120, ALLM, VRR and AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility.

We also note the Vidaa U7 Smart TV function associated with a particularly fast Quad Core processor, with the emphasis placed on the integration of local applications (Molotov, Canal+, Netflix, Salto, Disney+). But Vidaa U also includes the integration of Google Assistant (Works with Hey Google) in addition to the Amazon Alexa voice assistant.
Also on the program, artificial intelligence to display recommendations on the right of the screen according to the tastes of the spectator(s), real-time information on the weather, or even information on the best applications of the moment. Finally, Vidaa U7 allows automatic recognition of peripherals connected to the TV (decoder, game console, Blu-Ray player, etc.) for greatly improved ergonomics. Likewise, it integrates an internet browser, a store with more than 200 applications, access to Netflix 4K, YouTube 4K, Amazon Prime Video 4K, Wuaki.tv (with direct access key to Netflix, Youtube and Wuaki.tv on the remote)…
Finally, navigation never exceeds three clicks to access the desired settings or services. Of course, support for HEVC, AV1 and VP9 decoding is required.

And on the connectivity side, there are four HDMI inputs, two of which are 2.1 (eARC for one of them). The Dual Band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth functions will obviously be required. The built-in microphone allows voice control of the TV. To return to connectivity, two USB Host ports are also expected (including one 3.0) with DVR and Time Shifting function, an Ethernet port, a CI+ port… Last clarification, the Hisense 100U7KQ TV includes a DVB-T2, DVB-S2 tuner and DVB-C and benefits from an Input Lag of less than 20 ms, without forgetting Fransat compatibility and the HBBTV 2.0 label.
