Equalizer 3, the third and undoubtedly final cinematic installment of the eponymous series from the 80s, has been in theaters since August 30. In the United States, the film quickly took the lead at the box office, probably thanks to the four-day Labor Day holiday (Monday, September 4 in Mickey's land).
The South is hot
As in the two previous films, Denzel Washington reprises the character created on the small screen by Edward Woodward: Robert McCall, a retired CIA agent. The film is once again directed by Antoine Fuqua, already at the helm of the previous opuses in the series (Equalizer and Equalizer 2). This time, Robert McCall has taken refuge in southern Italy and is yearning for a well-deserved rest. But that was without counting on the local mafia...
Sony has opened pre-orders for the Equalizer 3 editions, expected in stores on January 3. The film will be available in 4K UHD, Blu-Ray and DVD. Note also that Fnac will offer a limited edition of Equalizer 3 in a Steelbook Collector format.
