The startup HeyGen specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) has just launched a stunning tool that transforms your videos, changing the language of the person speaking. Not only is the recorded speech declaimed in another language, but it also retains the speaker's voice, and the movement of his lips is modified to match the new diction.
HeyGen is creating a buzz, the proof is in the image
To understand better, just watch the demonstration video below in which Jon Finger, the startuper from HeyGen, records his message in English, which is then artificially reproduced in French, then in German. Quite perfect French and rather Canadian sounding, but the result is impressive.
The program can be used in beta version with two free minutes and a subscription of $29 per month for the rest. Ten languages are accepted for input - English, Spanish, French, Chinese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Hindi and Japanese - and eight languages for output: English, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, German, Polish and Portuguese. Others will be added later.
