This new season entitled Night Country will feature a new duo of detectives played by Jodie Foster in the skin of a character which necessarily refers to that of the emblematic Clarice Starling, whom she played in The Silence of the Lambs, and ex-boxer Kali Reis.
True Detective season 4 on Prime Video in January
The new teaser plunges into a captivating icy atmosphere which seems to reconnect with that of the first season, a deadly puzzle visibly packed with suspense, powerful dramatic issues and iconic characters. The official synopsis for the 6-episode series states: “As a long winter night falls on the town of Ennis, Alaska, the eight men in charge of the Tsalal Arctic research station disappear without a trace . To solve this case, detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to overcome their own demons and probe the eternal ice in search of the deepest secrets. Following the writers' strike, this new season will be broadcast on January 14, 2024 across the Atlantic. In France, it will be offered on the Prime Video platform during the same period.
