If Jacques Audiard does not seem involved in the serial adaptation of his own film A Prophet, nor even its actors for that matter, the series A Prophet is however developed by the original creative team behind the film with the nine Caesars: the screenwriters Abdel Raouf Dafri (Mesrine, Braquo) and Nicolas Peufaillit (Les revenants), as well as producer Marco Cherqui (Sauvages).
Eight episodes on OCS
Directed by Enrico Maria Artale (Romulus, Django 2022) and currently in production in Marseille and Puglia, it more or less repeats the subject of the original film. In the casting, we will find in the role of the hero: Malik El Djebenna. He will be accompanied by Sami Bouajila (Natives), Ouassini Embarek (Athena), Matthieu Lucci (Patient), Nailia Harzoune (Placed, Good Conduct).
For the moment, OCS has not yet revealed a date for the broadcast of the 8 planned episodes.
