According to analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong International Securities, next year's iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max would be equipped with the next generation of 5G modems from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon X75.

The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus would retain the Snapdragon categories with an additional factor (joining the processor, the screen, the type of USB, among other points of distinction).
Qualcomm and Apple contract renewed until 2026
The Snapdragon Apple has been working on its own 5G modem for a while now, a chip that should have been ready in 2025 but which we will surely see arrive later since Apple extended its contract with Qualcomm until 2026.
