These 18,000 titles account for 99% of all viewing generated on Netflix with nearly 100 billion hours of viewing in total, and this new data covers the period from January to June 2023.
2023 ranking of the most viewed series and films
Series side, during this period it was The Night Agent which recorded the greatest success with 812.1 million hours of viewing, followed by Ginny and Georgia with 665.1 million, The Glory at 622.8 million and finally the Wednesday series with 507.7 million. For films, The Mother starring Jennifer Lopez was the most requested film with 249.9 million hours watched, followed by Luther: The Fallen Sun with 209.7 million and third on the podium Extraction 2 with 201 .8 million hours of viewing. Note that from now on the platform will communicate on these figures twice a year.
