What dates for France 2 UHD and France 3 UHD in mainland France?
According to our (extremely well-informed) source, the following unofficial calendar is 95% reliable. The dates specified below, barring major concerns, should therefore be respected:
• Phase 1, January 23: in addition to Paris already available, switching on of transmitters for the cities and regions of Marseille, Montpellier, Nantes and Bordeaux
• Phase 2, around February 20: switching on of transmitters for the cities and regions of Lyon, St Étienne, Toulouse, Rennes, Rouen and Mantes
• Phase 3, around March 20: switching on of transmitters for the towns and regions of Le Puy, Angers, Privas, Mende, Millau, Vanne, Alençon and St Nazaire
• Phase 3, around April 20: switching on of transmitters for the towns and regions of Avignon, Agen , Le Mans and Saumur
These are the broad outlines of a moving agenda and, we remind you, still unofficial. As you can see, this calendar is of course far from exhaustive. In addition to continuing until June (and even after for overseas territories), this schedule could see the addition of other transmitters for each phase. We will keep you informed once the full schedule is known.
