Big nod to a hyper-popular manga££££
Interrupted due to the strike in Hollywood when it was halfway through shooting, the film directed by Shawn Levy was saw its filming resume at the end of November. The new Deadpool will evolve in multiverse mode, allowing Wolverine/Hugh Jackman to reappear. The latter will notably encounter some variants of Deadpool. The new leaked photos reveal a scene in which the Deadpool we know, Dogpool and Wolverine encounter a samurai version of Deadpool's character. Thus, the character of Wade (Ryan Reynolds) does not have burns on his face and wears his long hair in a ponytail. This is, ostensibly, a nod to Deadpool: Samurai, the most popular manga published in 2021, in which Deadpool moves to Tokyo. Filming on this new Deadpool is scheduled to wrap up in early February and should be ready in time for release in July this year.
