What dates for France 2 UHD in mainland France?££££
If the transmitters concerned as of January 23 are now available on the Arcom website (see below, click to enlarge the document), the list of other activation brackets is beginning to take shape.
The activation of the transmitters planned for February 27 concerns Agen (47), Bonloc (64), Cazès (82), Fougères (35), Guer (56), Lauzerte (82), Saissac (11), St Malo (35), Toulouse (31) and Rennes (35). The cities of Marseilles, Montpellier, Lorient and Laval should benefit from 4K TNT on April 2. Finally, you will have to wait until April 30 for the regions of Lyon, St Étienne, Rouen and Le Mans. Other regions will still be followed. As a reminder, France 2 UHD is available on channel 52 in mainland France.
What dates for France 2 UHD overseas?££££
For overseas transmitters, the France Télévisions professional website indicates that the deployment of 4K DTT should be based on the following dates :
• Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana, Réunion and Mayotte on January 23
• Wallis, New Caledonia and Polynesia at the end of February
• St Pierre and Miquelon at the end of March
Namely, France 2 UHD will also be available on satellite from January 31. As a reminder, France 2 UHD is available on channel 22 overseas.
What dates for France 3 UHD in mainland France and overseas?££££
The broadcast of France 3 UHD, still the professional site of France Télévisions, is planned on channel 53 in mainland France from 10 July, on channel 23 overseas.
Last clarification, the timetable concerning ISPs (Internet Access Providers) is not yet known.
