Apple reminds us that its Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset is compatible with three video formats:
• 2D films and series broadcast on a virtual screen
• 3D films and series on a virtual screen , with HFR (High Frame Rate) for the first time
• Apple Immersive Video videos, in 3D in an environment completely surrounding the user
Apple Vision Pro, 4 videos and 1 application compatible with 3D 8K at launch££££
It is naturally this last format that Apple wishes to highlight, calling it "the future of leisureâ€, and at launch four videos and an application will be compatible. These are Prehistoric Planet Immersive, Wild Life, Adventure, Alicia Keys: Rehearsal Room, and the interactive experience Encounter Dinosaurs created with Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Mandalorian).

« Apple Immersive Video is a new entertainment format developed by Apple that transports viewers into the heart of a story with 180-degree 8K 3D recordings captured with audio space†explains Apple. Note that the Apple Vision Pro is equipped with two Micro LED screens with a resolution of just over 4K per eye (hence, undoubtedly, the 8K designation of content by Apple).
