Production on the second season of HBO's The Last of Us is about to begin. The team, already present in Vancouver to prepare, had dinner last night in a restaurant (Zarak, modern Afghan cuisine) where the staff engaged in a small festive photo shoot with the team. We thus discover Bella Ramsey (Ellie), Isabela Merced (Dina), Young Mazino (Jesse), as well as showrunner Craig Mazin and producer Jacqueline Lesko.

Don't look for Kaitlyn Dever who will play Abby in the photos, Pedro Pascal (Joel), Gabriel Luna (Tommy) and Rutina Wesley (Maria), they are all expected on set shortly, for a shoot which must start on February 15. As a reminder, the first season in 9 episodes of The Last of Us adapted the first part of the video game The Last of Us: Part I. After the dangerous crossing of the United States ravaged by an epidemic caused by the cordyceps fungus, Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), who have become considerably closer to the point of having built an almost filial relationship, finally arrive at the Fireflies' lair in Salt Lake City.
