Notably known for the autonomous conversation agent ChatGPT, the company OpenAI, which today unveiled Sora, its new, quite incredible TextToVideo revolution, is working on an intelligent “software agent†which, to summarize, will take control of your computer to accomplish complex tasks for you.
This is what the site The Information reveals (via Gizmodo), specifying that the agent can work on several applications on the computer, performing clicks, cursor movements and text entry, all alone. A kind of new operating system that could forever change the way we interact with a computer.

This agent is part of CEO Sam Altman's project from OpenAI, to transform ChatGPT into a super-assistant, a bit like Siri but better. Last November, Altman said, "Eventually, you'll just ask the computer what you need and it will do all those tasks for you." These capabilities are often referred to in the AI field as “agents.†The benefits will be enormous.â€
Google and Meta are also working on their own software agents.
