Rumors about an autonomous car developed by Apple -aka Apple Car- have been circulating since 2014. But over the years, the project has encountered quite a few obstacles, and at the beginning of the year, it was reported that his ambitions had been scaled back.

A few weeks after this news, the information is even more pessimistic since the project (code name Titan) would have simply been abandoned. This is what the Bloomberg agency reports, affirming that Apple's director of operations -Jeff Williams- announced in early March to the 2,000 employees working on the car that the project was canceled. Most of the team members will be transferred to other divisions of the company, notably the artificial intelligence sector, while others will simply be laid off.
