The Neo QLED Ultra HD 4K Q70D 2024 TV series has four references: Samsung TQ55Q70D (55'', 140 cm), Samsung TQ65Q70D (65'', 165 cm), Samsung TQ75Q70D (75'', 191 cm) and Samsung TQ85Q70D (85'', 216 cm).
Samsung Q70D, what specifications?££££
As with most Samsung 2024 TV series, we do not yet have all the technical characteristics of the Q80D televisions, but we will soon. These should be close to those of the Q70C references. However, we know that native 120 Hz LCD panels are associated with an Edge Local Dimming LED backlighting system and the Dual LED process.
Samsung Q70D: LED 5,000°K + LED 20,000°K££££
The idea of the Korean engineers is to mix two kinds of diodes in the backlighting system, the first displaying a temperature of color of 5,000°K and the others 20,000°K, allowing significant variations in shades (cold or warm) to better correspond to the nature of the image displayed. Thus, these TVs are able to adapt easily and efficiently to the different contents appearing on the screen.
Samsung Q70D, improvement of contrasts and colors££££
The manufacturer's representatives claim that this technique helps prevent light leaks, which improves the contrast ratio in Cinema mode by 27% compared to classic LED diffusers. Not to mention increased accuracy of colors displayed with greater density and an improved viewing angle. Without being wider, the latter would offer better readability at the same angle. While waiting to return to the equipment of the Samsung Q70D TVs planned in stores in April, their indicative prices are now known: €1,199 for the Samsung TQ55Q70D, €1,499 for the Samsung TQ65Q70D , €1,999 for the Samsung TQ75Q70D and €2,999 for the Samsung TQ85Q70D.
