The 96th Oscars ceremony, which rewards the flagship of international cinema, took place just a few days ago. Dolby laboratories are taking this opportunity to join in the victory of films that have benefited from Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies.

In passing, Dolby gives us some interesting statistics on its collaboration with world cinema:
• 75% of the 2023 world box office was labeled with Dolby Cinema, including Dune, Top Gun: Maverick and Avatar: The Way of Water
• More than 530 films have been released or will be released in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for Dolby Cinema theaters around the world (Poor Creatures, Dune and Dune Part II, The Marvels, Wonka , Barbie, Oppenheimer, Bob Marley One Love…)
• There are more than 450 Dolby Cinema theaters in the world (open or planned), including 12 in France
