Dirac, a Swedish pioneer in digital audio, and Bluesound, manufacturers of [abc]streaming[/abc] multiroom [abc]Hi-Fi[/abc] devices, announce a partnership that will make certain Bluesound products compatible with the Dirac Live system.

In summary, Dirac Live is a software solution that corrects the amplitude and phase of the entire sound system, taking into account the environment, to deliver more transparent, balanced sound, tighter bass, better staging and improved clarity. Bluesound announces that its next products will be ready to manage Dirac Live, as long as a license is purchased on the Dirac website. As for existing devices, a solution is being studied to allow them to integrate this functionality, deployment plans for eligible models will be shared at a later date.
