Several cast members shared photos from the series' wrap party last night, while lead actress Sydney Chandler and cinematographer Dana Gonzales (Fargo) shared messages signifying the end of the filming.
Xenomorph approaching££££
A filming which lasted six months, but whose production actually stretched over fifteen months, not to mention its development over several years. Photos from the wrap party show crew members sporting T-shirts flanked by the "Prodigy Corp" logo, a key element in the show's storytelling, while others pose in front of a banner that appears be concept art and shows a xenomorph walking down a spaceship corridor.
££££ A retrofuturistic look££££
The events of the series are said to take place in 2092 (about a year before Prometheus) and will adopt the retrofuturistic aesthetic of the original Alien film , as opposed to the more modern rendering of Prometheus. Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav, Kit Young, Timothy Olyphant and David Rysdahl co-star in the series Alien, which premieres next year on FX.
