A year has passed and as is customary, the new Galaxy Z Flip has arrived. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 therefore. Incidentally, this is the thinnest and lightest flip smartphone with foldable screen ever built by Samsung.
The device does not lose any strength, in particular thanks to the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 coating. The hinge is also more robust, making the infamous fold in the middle of the screen even less visible, without sacrificing the solidity of the screen.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, processor and Ram/Flash memory££££
The power is provided by the Octa Core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor (1 x 3 .39 GHz Cortex-X4 + 3 x 3.1 GHz Cortex-A720 + 2 x 2.9 GHz Cortex-A720 + 2 x 2.2 GHz Cortex-A520) engraved in 4 nm, supported by an Adreno 750 graphics chip, 12 GB of Ram and 256 GB or 512 GB of Flash memory (still no micro-SD memory card reader to expand the memory). Namely, the internal heat released by the processor passes through a new cooling chamber, absent from the previous model. We also note a 4,000 mAh battery, fast charging (25 W) and energy sharing functions, as well as wireless charging (15 W) and Reverse Charging (4.5 W) compatibility.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, focus on AI££££
Introduced with the Galaxy S24 models, Galaxy AI functions are naturally required, with the addition of Google Gemini integration. AI makes it possible, among other things, to generate a detailed image from a simple sketch of yours, or to write an entire email from a short start. Image capture is also supported by artificial intelligence, and the translation application takes full advantage of the device's two screens, with each interlocutor having their own display for smoother interaction. Note that the translation is managed directly by the machine, without going through the Cloud.
