Given the many expectations and disappointments since Fincher's Alien 3, we thought the possibility of seeing a good Alien film again was definitively buried. This final trailer for Alien: Romulus by Fede Alvarez, (Don't Breathe and Evil Dead) gives us hope.
Alien Romulus trailer, the promises are great££££
Everything is there: the atmosphere and the thrill of the first episode, the characters and the rhythm of the second, in addition to some new ideas that leave suppose that the director has reappropriated the universe of the film by bringing in a saving new blood. The sets, the actors, the music, the special effects, everything is incredibly successful in this extraordinarily terrifying trailer. We now have to hope that the scenario and the film keep all the good promises suggested by this final trailer.
Alien Romulus, August 14 in France££££
Reply next August 14, date of the theatrical release of Alien Romulus in France. The story takes place between the events of Alien and Aliens and is said to be a tonal blend of the two films. The cast includes Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, Archie Renaux and Isabela Merced, among others. The official synopsis states: “While undertaking excavations in an abandoned space station, a group of young travelers find themselves confronted with the most terrifying life form in the universe…â€
