BOE, leader in Chinese Oled screens for smartphones££££

We are talking here about screens produced by companies like BOE, Visionox or Tienma, for clients such as Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, and Huawei (Samsung produces its own screens). By 2028, the distribution of Oled screens would be 361 million units in 2026, 428 million in 2026. Namely, the figure of 298 million for 2024 would represent a growth of 19% compared to the 250 million achieved in 2023 Last year, BOE was the leader with a 45% share of Chinese manufacturers, followed by Visionox (22%), Tienma (14%), CSOT (10%) and Ever Display (9%).

The penetration of Oled technology among Chinese smartphone producers has increased thanks to the fall in screen prices. In addition, even on many less expensive models, manufacturers would no longer wish to return to [abc]LCD[/abc], whose performance is lower than that of Oled.
