After the iPhone 13 Pro then the iPhone 14 Pro (almost exactly a year ago), today it is the iPhone 15 Pro which is in the spotlight in the “filmed with iPhone†promotional series from Apple, which this time leaves carte blanche to the Mexican-American director duo CLIQUA (aka Pasqual Gutiérrez and Raúl “RJ†Sanchez).

Usual for The Weeknd's clips, the artists here exploit the filmic capabilities of the iPhone 15 Pro, in particular its Cinematic mode, the stabilization of Action mode, the real-time focus change, x5 zoom and the possibility of saving files in Log format for more advanced color retouching.
The result is called ¡Suerte! (“chanceâ€), a short film which tells the story of musician Iván Cornejo, in search of inspiration with a giant fish-man as his companion. If the short film is magnificent thanks to the iPhone, we should not underestimate the team and the professional resources deployed for the occasion.
