Expert in [abc]Oled[/abc] technology for more than ten years, this engineer cut his teeth at Samsung Display before creating his own screen company in Korea and China. Company which allowed it to quietly resell Samsung's internal manufacturing secrets to other Chinese companies, between 2018 and 2020.
Embezzlement estimated at 226 million euros££££
Following an accusation launched at the end of last year for embezzlement estimated at 340 billion won (or 226 million euros), the sentence fell very recently. For having violated the laws of Anti-competitive Practice and Protection of Trade Secrets, the man is now behind bars for a mere six years. Namely, some of his friends and collaborators, also convinced of intelligence with the enemy, were sentenced to two years in prison.
