According to the Korean media The Elec, Microsoft is developing a mixed reality headset - combining virtual reality and augmented reality - of the same type as the Apple Vision Pro.

This is a model dedicated to video games and multimedia viewing, unlike the headset optimized for the Metaverse (developed by Meta), which has not been much talked about in recent months. For the project, Samsung Display is expected to supply hundreds of thousands of OLEDoS screens, the specifications of which have not yet been finalized. The commercial launch is scheduled for 2026 at the earliest, the device could position itself as a competitor to Apple's headset, which will probably offer - at least - a first evolution at that date.
