It was during a podcast (Bill Maher's Random Club) that the author of Once Upon a Time in… Hollywood, clarified his thoughts, stating that for him, there are two perfect trilogies in cinema: the trilogy of films of "The Man with No Name" (A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly) by Sergio Leone, and the first three Toy Story films.

Before adding: "I'm a huge fan of the Toy Story trilogy. The third one is just beautiful, and it's one of the best films I've ever seen and, if you've seen the other two, then it's just devastating. The thing is, three years later, or something like that, they made a fourth one and I have no desire to see it. You literally finished the story as perfectly as possible, so no, I don't care if it's good, I'm done"
Note that a fifth Toy Story film is in the works at Pixar, a spin-off film centered around Buzz Lightyear.
