Based on the latest Similarweb data, Visual Capitalist has compiled and illustrated the list of the 15 most visited websites in the world in 2024. A ranking that has not changed much compared to recent years but which sees the rise of sites propelled by the public's dazzling interest in artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
Most visited sites in the world, the podium remains unchanged££££
The first three positions are still occupied by Google (with 18.32% of global traffic), YouTube (6.96%) and Facebook (3.41%). As for the sites that have benefited from AI, we note the surge of OpenAI's ChatGPT to 11th position (17th last year) with 0.62% of global traffic. As we predicted last year, OpenAI's traffic has already surpassed that of TikTok and Amazon.

Finally, let's note that American sites monopolize the Top 15 with eleven positions, followed by China (two sites, Baidu and TikTok), Russia (Yandex) and the Czech Republic with xvideos, of course.
