After generating $85 billion last quarter, Apple could well break a record in 2024 with total revenue of more than $400 billion.
Thanks to the iPhone 16?££££
400 billion, that's the figure estimated by Counterpoint Research, which attributes this result to the future success of the iPhone 16 range which will be unveiled on September 9 (in addition, of course, to the other products launched this year), as well as to the Services division (AppStore, Apple Music, Apple TV+, etc.) which is also breaking records.
The word to Tarun Pathak of Counterpoint££££
"Apple's services segment is poised to grow at a much faster rate than hardware," says Tarun Pathak of Counterpoint. However, in terms of absolute revenue growth, hardware remains crucial to move the needle, as it accounts for three-quarters of Apple's global revenue. After a decline in 2023, 2024 will see growth in several key hardware categories thanks to a number of launches. There is also the promise of Apple Intelligence being rolled out across hardware segments, which has once again generated excitement and could prompt upgrade purchases."
