However, in a very bright environment, the blacks displayed on the matte screen of the S95D TVs appear less dense than on a screen with a glossy panel. Even if, when tested in daily use, this is a point that ultimately appears very relative, it bothers some consumers. Thus, in order to meet their wishes, Samsung has decided to offer in Germany a version of its Samsung TQ65S95D TV under the Samsung 65S9D reference, the particularity of which lies in the absence of the anti-reflective coating replaced by a glossy Oled panel. There is, however, some doubt about the QD Oled nature of this 65S9D specimen. Indeed, in addition to the coating of the Oled panel, the HDR+ label of the S9D differs from that of HDR Pro of the S95D, a label used by the S90D TV series. For the rest, the specifications correspond to those of the S95D series, in particular the presence of the One Connect box.
