All the ingredients of a good Whodunit are there: the actors are visibly jubilant, lightness rubs shoulders with mystery in dream settings and the surprises should follow, starting with the presence of Isabelle Adjani.

The story begins when Amelia Sacks is about to get married and join one of the richest families in Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, the famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury (Nicole Kidman), has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the first wedding of the season. But the sumptuous party turns into a disaster before it even begins when a body is discovered in the harbor of Nantucket, just hours before the ceremony. All the guests suddenly become suspects.
