Inside Out to be made into a series for Disney

While the second installment of the Inside Out saga has been a hit on the big screen since this summer, the sequel to Riley's emotional adventures should be coming to the small screen.

It was to be expected, given that Inside Out 2, released at the beginning of the summer, is already establishing itself as one of the biggest hits of the year. Pixar is not yet done with the emotions of Riley, the little heroine of the Inside Out films. The film by Kelsey Mann has indeed allowed itself the luxury of having one of the best starts of all time for an animated film, behind The Lion King version 2019 (191 million) but ahead of Super Mario Bros. the film (146 million) and far ahead of the first Inside Out (90 million).

What's up Docter?££££

At D23, the big gathering of the little mouse's projects, Pete Docter, the boss of Pixar studios, revealed that a series around the Inside Out franchise would see the light of day, in 2025. Some time earlier, he even declared to the site Entertainment Weekly: "We finished the series. It will be released on Disney+ next spring. In the first Inside Out, you remember that we explored the world of dream production to see how Riley made her dreams? That explains a little bit why they are so strange... In the series, we continue the exploration of this world of dreams and how they affect us when we are awake. It's a very cool theme."

In addition, it would seem that the series will take the form of a mockumentary like The Office, on the manufacture of dreams.
