While the latest rumors see the new Nintendo Switch 2 console being released in March or April 2025, the Japanese manufacturer could however start to pique consumer curiosity as early as this September.
This is what Christopher Dring of gamesindustry.biz, known for the reliability of his sources, suggests. More specifically, he stated in an X's in early September that he was hearing "whispers within the industry about "something" around the Switch 2 that could arrive this month.

As for the machine itself, the latest rumors suggest that it will have a fast charging system as well as a second cooling system - a fan, to be exact - apparently integrated into the docking station.
