Thomson QLED Google TV, from 32'' to 85''

Thomson took advantage of the IFA show in Berlin this week to announce the addition of two new diagonals to its Thomson QLED TV series, in 32" (82 cm) and 40" (102 cm).

The Thomson QLED Google TV series 2024 therefore has eight references, the Thomson 32QG5C14 (32'', 82 cm), Thomson 40QG5C14 (40'', 102 cm), Thomson 43QG5C14 (43'', 109 cm), Thomson 50QG5C14 (50'', 127 cm), Thomson 55QG5C14 (55'', 140 cm), Thomson 65QG5C14 (65'', 165 cm), Thomson 75QG5C14 (75'', 191 cm) and Thomson 85QG5C14 (85'', 216 cm).

Thomson QLED Google TV, main specifications££££

To make a long story short, the Thomson QLED Google TVs feature all the specifications of the 2023 QLED models, with Quantum Dots nanocrystal technology at the forefront for near-perfect color richness and accuracy. The sound section delivers 16 W on the 43'', 20 W on the 50'', 55'', 65'' and 75", 24 W on the 85 inches.

In addition to a 10-bit [abc]LCD[/abc] [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc] panel, there are [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc] and [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] compatibilities.

These televisions also feature a Quad Core processor for sophisticated image processing, a 60 Hz, a Direct [abc]LED[/abc] [abc]Global Dimming[/abc] backlighting system, a triple tuner [abc]DVB-T[/abc]2/[abc]DVB-S[/abc]2/[abc]DVB-C[/abc], a backlit remote control (possibility of a remote control adapted to the elderly and/or visually impaired with larger and limited buttons, but still equipped with a Favorite button to access your favorite channel with a single press).

Thomson QLED Google TV televisions are richly equipped in terms of connectivity. There are four [abc]HDMI[/abc] [abc]CEC[/abc] 2.0 inputs, one of which manages the [abc]eARC[/abc] functionality, one [abc]Composite[/abc] on [abc]RCA[/abc], one stereo on RCA, one [abc]optical[/abc] output, two powered [abc]USB[/abc] ports, one [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port, one [abc]CI+ port[/abc] and one headphone output. Finally, the stand is pivoting (see photo above).

The Thomson QLED Google TV televisions have a neat and very successful design with an extremely thin [abc]LCD[/abc] panel frame for a beautiful elegance. Finally, the Thomson QLED TVs are connected models through the Google TV operating system. We find the [abc]Chromecast (integrated)[/abc] function, the [abc]Wi-Fi[/abc]/[abc]Bluetooth[/abc] compatibilities, the Google Assistant voice control, the [abc]HbbTV[/abc] compatibility or even access to the Googler Play Store to install all the desired applications: Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, myCanal…

Availability announced for the month of May. Indicative prices: €249 for the Thomson 32QG5C14, €329 for the Thomson 40QG5C14, €499 for the Thomson 43QG5C14, €549 for the Thomson 50QG5C14, €599 for the Thomson 55QG5C14, €799 for the Thomson 65QG5C14, €1,199 for the Thomson 75QG5C14 and €1,999 for the Thomson 85QG5C14.
