Apple Watch 10, bigger, thinner

Alongside the new iPhone 16, Apple also presented the tenth generation of its smartwatch, the Apple Watch 10.

Still available in two sizes, 46 mm and 42 mm, the Apple Watch 10 evolves compared to the previous version (45 mm and 41 mm), offering the largest screens in the range since its creation (larger even than the Apple Watch Ultra). Incidentally, it is also Apple's thinnest watch, almost 10% thinner than the Apple Watch 9.

The corners are more rounded and the screen offers 40% more brightness, even at an oblique viewing angle. At the heart of the device, the new S10 SiP chip offers a smaller footprint but identical performance to the S9. In terms of features, the new watchOS system can now detect sleep apnea, provided of course that you wear your watch while sleeping.

We also note new options for diving, notably thanks to water resistance up to 50 m and depth and temperature sensors dedicated to underwater sports. It is also now possible to play audio from the watch, transforming it into a small "speaker" when no other option is available. On the battery side, Apple estimates its autonomy at 18 hours and promises an 80% charge in just 30 minutes. We should also note better performance on the cellular communication side, as well as the use of 95% recycled aluminum for the manufacture of the watch.

Apple Watch 10 aluminum available immediately. Indicative prices: between €449 and €899 (depending on the screen size and the type of bracelet) and between €799 and €1,149 for the titanium version.
