Gerard Butler is finally back in the sequel to the 2018 crime thriller Criminal Squad, a sort of Heat revisited in a less good but still very effective way.
After a few shots from the first opus, the trailer for Criminal Squad Pantera reminds us that one of the members of the robbers from the first film is still on the run, before starting a turning point for the hero that suggests an unexpected direction.

The official synopsis states: "The continuation of the adventures of "Big Nick" O'Brien who hunts down bad guys in the streets of Europe and gets closer to capturing Donnie. Meanwhile, the latter has been drawn into the dangerous world of diamond thieves and the Panther mafia." The jubilant tone of the first opus still seems to be in place and Butler is still as magnetic as a more than borderline cop. Opposite him, O'Shea Jackson Jr and Salvatore Esposito (Genny Savastano in Gomorrah). In front of the camera, still Christian Gudegast who is directing this sequel which will be released on January 22, 2025 in movie theaters in France.
