iPhone 16, barely released, already copied (bis)

After Realme, two other Chinese manufacturers are about to launch new smartphones riding the wave recently opened by Apple and its iPhone 16.

We may criticize Apple today for its lack of originality and its limited annual improvements, but the manufacturer remains one of the only ones to bring "innovations" that are sufficiently notable (the notch, the Dynamic Island, no longer providing a charger, etc.) for them to be systematically copied by the competition.

Apple iPhone, a source of inspiration for Chinese manufacturers££££

The latest case is recent since the new "camera" button on the iPhone 16 has already inspired Realme (we told you about it here). On the other hand, we learn that other Chinese manufacturers will also be heavily inspired by Apple. For example, the leaker Ice Universe revealed that the next Find 8 by Oppo will have a button with similar features, called Quick Button. Similarly, Nubia CEO Ni Fei posted a teaser of his upcoming smartphone on Chinese social network Weibo, hinting at features like a better display, AI, and guess what… a dedicated camera button.
