Previewed at the IFA show in Berlin during a brand event, the Xiaomi TV Max series has two references [abc]Ultra HD[/abc] [abc]4K[/abc], the Xiaomi TV Max 85 and Xiaomi TV Max 100, the suffix number indicating the diagonal of the televisions, namely 85" (216 cm) and 100" (254 cm).
Xiaomi TV Max 85/TV Max 100 LED TV, main specifications££££
The Xiaomi TV Max 85 and Xiaomi TV Max 100 are built on a Direct [abc]LED[/abc] [abc]Global Dimming[/abc] backlight system and the peak light output is 400 nits on the 85", 500 nits on the 100 inch. For the rest, Xiaomi announces the presence of VA type [abc]LCD[/abc] panels (signed BOE) 10 bits (8 bits + FRC) and 144 Hz, a triple tuner [abc]DVB-T[/abc]2/[abc]DVB-C[/abc]/[abc]DVB-S[/abc]2, a Quad Core Cortex-A73 processor for image processing (AI PQ process for Picture Quality and AI SR for Super Resolution) and MEMC motion compensation up to 120 hertz. The DCI-P3 gamut coverage is announced at 94% via the use of QLED technology (Quantum Dot nanocrystals). The technical specifications also mention the management of [abc]HDR10+[/abc], [abc]HDR HLG[/abc] and [abc]HDR Dolby Vision[/abc]. It is also worth mentioning the presence of the FilmMaker mode.
In terms of audio, the Xiaomi TV Max 85 and Xiaomi TV Max 100 are equipped with a stereo system with two tweeters, each associated with a wide-range speaker for a total power output of 2 x 15 watts. [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] and [abc]DTS:X[/abc] compatibilities are included.

The connectivity of the Xiaomi TV Max 85 and Xiaomi TV Max 100 has three HDMI 2.1 CEC inputs with management, in addition to the 144 Hz already specified (HDMI 1/2), of [abc]eARC[/abc] (HDMI 2), [abc]VRR[/abc] (Input Lag 4 ms at 120 Hz) and [abc]ALLM[/abc]. Added to this are two [abc]USB[/abc] ports (2.0 + 3.0), an [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port, a [abc]CI+ port[/abc] and a 3.5mm mini-jack headphone output. It is also worth mentioning the support for Freesync Premium. For connectivity, we note the [abc]Wi-Fi[/abc] 6 Dual Band functions, [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.2, [abc]AirPlay 2[/abc], [abc]Miracast[/abc] and [abc]Chromecast (integrated)[/abc].

Finally, the Xiaomi TV Max 85 and Xiaomi TV Max 100 are connected models through the Google TV operating system associated with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage memory. We therefore find Google Assistant voice control, [abc]HbbTV[/abc] compatibility or even access to the Google Play Store to install all the desired applications: Netflix, Prime Video, Disney +, myCanal… Xiaomi TV + offering free access to a library of content channels is even on the program.
Availability announced for the end of October. Indicative prices: € 1,299 for the Xiaomi TV Max 85, € 1,999 for the Xiaomi TV Max 100.
