With the GV50, the Taiwanese manufacturer focuses on ergonomics with a highly automated implementation and settings. Thus, the keystone correction and the focus are automatic and it is possible, using the remote control, to move the position of the image on a wall or ceiling to avoid, for example, a bright sport or a switch that would pollute the image. Similarly, it is possible to rotate the image 360° and tilt the base of the GV50 to enjoy an image perfectly in line with your eyes while the video projector is placed on its side (see photo below). Finally, a timer is present to automatically cut off the projection after a defined period in order to promote gentle falling asleep.

Good point, the USB-C port allows you to easily connect a suitable key or a Nintendo Switch game console to the BenQ GV50 for example to display its screen in large and charge it at the same time, but also to power the video projector from an external battery or, if it is plugged into a power outlet, to power an external device (tablet, smartphone, computer, etc.).

The projection ratio is fixed at 1.2 and offers a dimension of 60'' (152 cm) to 120'' (305 cm) for a distance located between 1.5 m and 3.2 meters.
